Microdermabrasion - As we age, our skin's ability to turn over cells slows, leaving your skin looking dull.  We use a diamond-tipped wand to buff away dead skin cells leaving healthier, younger-looking skin.

Laser hair removal - Tired of shaving, or waxing and every other option that can cause irritation to the skin as well the wallet?  Why not try permanent hair reduction?

 

How it works .... Your hair grows in three different stages... Anagen (active), catagen (mature), telagen (dormant).  The IPL laser machine targets the pigment in the hair follicle causing thermal damage which inhibits new growth.  When your hair is in the anagen stage (active)  your hair contains the most amount of pigment which is needed for the success of the treatment.  Because your hair is not always in this cycle and not at the same time, you will need more than one treatment.  Clients can expect 5-20% in hair reduction per treatment and results vary with each individual.

Photo rejuvenation - Soften the hands of time with this remarkable treatment.  The IPL laser machine gently delivers light into the skin which stimulates collagen production, coagulates dilated capillaries, targets uneven pigment due to sun damage and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  This treatment is suitable for individuals with rosacea, previous sun worshippers and those looking to refresh their skin's appearance. 

 

Are there any side effects?  Immediately after the procedure, your skin may be a little pink and your skin may have a mild sunburned sensation.  This should last less than a couple of hours.  The treatment may also pick up on some pigment which may crust.  This is completely normal.  As long as these spots are not picked at, they will disappear in a few days. Cooling cloths are used after the treatment to lessen the potential of other rare side effects.  An initial consultation (no charge) will be required to ensure that you are a candidate for this treatment and together we can decide if this treatment is right for you. 

 

 

Laser acne treatments - This is a great option for individuals with mild, to moderate acne.  The IPL laser works by targeting P-acne bacteria, drying out blemishes and lessening the potential for future breakouts.  Depending on the condition of the skin, we may recommend more than one treatment in combination with a proper skin care routine to observe optimal results. There are so many products out there that might actually be doing more harm than good.  Some contain harsh ingredients than can cause irritation and contribute to an already frustrating situation.
