Well... We did it again! This years participation in the 2011 Ride to Conquer Cancer was another great achievement. 2280 riders, 8.6 million raised for cancer research and treatment development. Yeah! I have to say, this years ride was hands down the most difficult out of all three year's of participation. If we weren't fighting hills, we were battling injuries, crosswinds, rain, frozen toes and head-on winds that slowed you to a crawl.... This hands down tested my will for sure! There were so many times that I contemplated jumping on the bus that transported other riders to the finish line... But I just couldn't let my self. There is no doubt in my mind that what we battled over the June 25-26th weekend compares nothing to what families and victims of cancer face in their battle with the disease. So, I as well as my other team members fought through to the finish line. Pics to be posted! 2010 Ride to Conquer Cancer was a great success! 220Km.. 2 days .. 1888 riders.. 7.3 million raised for cancer research and treatment development.
